Piper's Creek plays a blend of Scottish and Irish traditional music seasoned with American and European influences.
 Some have described the sound as being delicate and thoughtful, while others have remarked on the underlying energy that emerges in our dance tunes. From a tender aire or slow reel, the mood can shift in a heartbeat to the driving pulse of a jig or hornpipe. A colorful array of instrumentation allows the sound to change dramatically within one tune set. Fiddles, smallpipes, whistles, harp, guitar, bouzouki and concertina combine create a smooth but edgy listening experience. The band takes it's name from the Piper's Creek Watershed, a beautiful, lush corner of North Seattle. It was one fine day in the month of May of the year 2004 when Hrvoje and Ivan came to "Istra", a pub in Zagreb owned by Mr. Boris Balenovic. There they found the "old" masters of Irish music Stef and Kruno, and their "students" Tina, Davor, Jelena and Dino. "Istra" was already filled with Irish tunes and the guys realized it was the right place for them.
 After few months of sessions in "Istra" a great idea formed in their minds! Tina, Davor, Jelena, Ivan, Hrvoje and Dino decided: - Lets form a band!Mrs. Ferris' Pighouse Collectionare a group of seven enthusiasts playing irish music since 2004.
