Coyote Run draws from the deep wells of Celtic, warrior, and maritime traditions in crafting their music. They play a range of instruments and all sing. Their sound is clean, powerful, and rich, and their music appeals to all ages.
Take for instance "Ripe and Bearded Barley". This song celebrates the harvest season and the gathering of the barley which brought so much life and merriment to a community. The words to this song are very old, coming from a traditional English folk song. The music has a nice dance feel to it with a well-thought out arrangement and beautiful vocals. One thing that strikes me as really amazing while listening to their MP3s is that the music seems very personal.
