Houston's incredible Pipes and Drums band, The Rogues have released the first track from their brand new album, "V.O". Let me start, by saying this band is phenomenal. Their name is spreading like rapidfire among anyone who loves the bagpipes, but this album is sure to start a new trend of creating bagpipe- lovers among those who never liked bagpipes before.
Case in point is "Bonny Portmore". This song belongs on a soundtrack to some hit movie. And not just a Celtic movie. ANY movie. It's beautifully composed with soft horns playing a lead before the bagpipes take over this much-loved song and soon-to-be classic.
