Born of Irish stock in a small town in the West of Scotland, Jim brings a performance which is pleasing to any room.
I first heard this song by Austin duo, Widening Gyre. The song is just plain fun, and Jim's arrangement is just wonderful. His wonderful brogue perfectly compliments this chipper song about young courtship. But don't stop here. Jim Brannigan has several great songs, including "Carrickfergus", "Whiskey in the Jar" and a more traditional arrangement than ours of the "Whistling Gypsy Rover".
